About Us
MARNI-Hygiene-Dienst GmbH, based in Wiesbaden, Germany, is a trusted specialist in commercial and residential pest control, pigeon management, and hygiene services. With over 50 years of experience, we have established ourselves as the region’s oldest professional provider in these areas.
Our History & Expertise
Founded in 1968 by Albert Rückert initially as a rodenticide and insecticide firm, MARNI-Hygiene-Dienst GmbH evolved through strategic expansions, most notably in 1975, when it merged with two veteran Wiesbaden pest control firms. Today, under the leadership of Marcus Rückert, our fully trained team continues to serve many original clients and a diverse customer base including municipal bodies, housing associations, industrial clients, food and pharmaceutical facilities, hospitals, care homes, and cultural institutions.
What We Offer
- Pest control in and around commercial and public buildings handling rodents, insects (such as ants, cockroaches, wasps), and storage pests with state-of-the-art methods including Selontra bait stations for safer and more effective results.
- Comprehensive pigeon control solutions, including plastic and stainless-steel nettings and spiking systems.
- Scheduled pest inspections and documentation especially for food processing and pharmaceutical industries. We use advanced database-driven systems (such as PestSoft) to ensure legally compliant record-keeping with full audit readiness and real-time customer access to reports.
- Provision of a 21-metre mobile platform (LEO 21) used for high-level installations in difficult-to-access areas and pigeon control work.
Our Credentials & Service Standards
Our technicians are trained pest control specialists, many of whom are IHK certified and hold official qualifications in health and supply protection (TRGS standards). We regularly attend continuing education and training courses to stay up to date with the latest industry developments.
